Privacy Policy

This policy explains what personal information Renobase collects, how we use it, and the choices you have. It covers our websites and the Renobase product (the “Service”).

What we collect

• Account information: your name, company, work email, password (stored hashed) and the trades you tell us about.
• Your workspace data: the lists, properties, contacts, leads, proposals, files and notes you and your team add. This often includes contact details of people you do business with. You control this data, and we process it on your behalf.
• Billing information: handled by our payment processor. We don't store full card numbers.
• Usage information: pages visited, buttons clicked, device and browser type, and approximate performance data, collected without advertising cookies.
• Proposal views: when someone opens a proposal link you share, we record that it was opened and when, so you can see it.

How we use it

• To run the Service: sign you in, store your records, and show them to your team.
• To power features you use, like address lookup, property maps and AI answers.
• To bill you, support you, and tell you about changes to the Service.
• To keep the Service secure and to understand and improve how it is used.

We do not sell personal information, and we do not use your workspace data for advertising.

Service providers

We use trusted providers to run the Service. They process data only to provide their service to us:

• Supabase: database, sign-in and file storage
• Vercel: hosting, and privacy-friendly analytics
• Anthropic: AI features such as Ask Renobase and drafted follow-ups
• Stripe: payments and billing
• Google Maps and OpenStreetMap: address lookup, maps and property outlines

We may also disclose information when the law requires it, or as part of a merger or sale of the business.

Cookies

We use cookies that the Service needs to work, such as keeping you signed in and remembering what you typed on the sign-up form for a few minutes. We don't use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.

Retention and security

We keep your information while your account is open and as needed to provide the Service. When an account closes, we delete or anonymise its data within a reasonable period, unless the law requires us to keep it. Data is encrypted in transit and access is limited to the people who need it.

Your choices and rights

You can see and edit your account details in Settings. You can ask us to access, correct, export or delete your personal information by emailing us. If you are someone whose details a Renobase customer stored, contact that company first; we will help them respond.

Children

The Service is for businesses and is not directed at children under 16.

Changes

We may update this policy. If a change is material we will tell you by email or in the product. See also our Terms of Service.
